Bring 2 cups of water and a pinch of salt to a boil. Add 1 cup oatmeal, simmer. 10-15 minutes.
Chop into whatever size chunks you'd like. Add apples to small pot, 1/2 cup water (just until you can see it), 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, bring to a boil and then simmer. About 4-6 minutes depending on size chunks, just until soft.
Add apples to oatmeal pot, stir, pour in bowl and top with extra cinnamon if you'd like! I also added a dash of Califia Vanilla Almond Milk.
